Lil Durk Collabs with Beats By Dre for New Campaign

Lil Durk has added one more endeavor to his already full calendar. According to Hip Hop DX, the Chicago rapper has teamed up with Beats by Dre for a new campaign with fashion company A Cold Wall. Durk and Beats announced their new venture in which the rapper models the Beats Studio3 wireless headphones alongside some fashion items from ACW. Samuel Ross, founder of A Cold Wall, released a statement to provide more details on the release.

“Building a literal link between environment, inspiration, material, and function enabled us to project shared, hyper-local, hyper-global influences as a keystone for a universal community,” said ACW said Ross. “By this, I mean through the cinematography, the shifting of environments and location—the catalyst of music playing a major role in transporting a listener, or transforming a physical environment.”

If you want to catch these headphones, you better get your timing and your money ready. The headphones will first be released as a limited edition item, priced at $350, on October 15. After the initial release, the headphones are expected to get a wider release to shopping outlets such as Apple, Saks Fifth Avenue, SSENSE, NOTRE, NTWRK, END Clothing and Selfridges.

Congrats to Lil Durk on adding a new venture to an already busy schedule this year. Durk teamed up with rapper Lil Baby to drop their collaboration project, The Voice of the Heroes. That set up them going on the road together for The Back Outside Tour. Durk also announced that he will be the closing act at the Big Jam concert, put on by Chicago hip hop radio station, WGCI. Durk noted that he was the first rapper from Chicago to achieve such an honor. Durk is finishing the year off with some big moves and hopes to carry this momentum into 2022.
