Freddie Gibbs is one of the funniest rappers around and his humor almost set up a supremely lopsided fight. Gibbs was on Mike Tyson’s podcast when Dr. Umar – self-proclaimed prince Pan Africanism — came up in the conversation. In the exchange, Gibbs tries explaining who Umar is to Tyson, and brings up his disdain for interracial relationships. So Iron Mike starts expressing how he feels about that, which can be seen in the clip below:
Apparently, this discussion got back to Dr. Umar in which he proposed surviving 5 rounds against Mike Tyson. In the videos posted below, Umar can be seen calling on all sorts of fighters to help him out including Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Bernard Hopkins. In addition to him reaching out for help with training, he even suggests the event would be money for the school he has been trying to build for the longest time now.

This fight is likely not going to happen but it’s hilarious to imagine if it would. With all due respect to Umar, Tyson would knock the Africanism out of him. It would be so bad to the point that Umar might change his name to Ronnie Jenkins and really start dating white women. It’s outrageous to say but it’s worth it to really think about and laugh at the possibilities that could come out of this. As mentioned earlier, Freddie Gibbs is one of the funniest rappers right now. On any given day, you can look his name up and fans are either cracking on him or vice versa; but it’s all in good fun. Just this week him and Wale were flaming each other, so he’s definitely one for the jokes. Just glad this joke didn’t go as far as Umar wanted it to.
